## Description

LiLa (Linking Latin) is an innovative European Research Council project that ran from 2018 to 2023, dedicated to integrating and enhancing linguistic resources and Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools for the Latin language. By bridging the gap between raw Latin data and knowledge descriptions, LiLa aims to develop a comprehensive Knowledge Base that adheres to the principles of Linked Data, thus incorporating Latin into the broader Linguistic Linked Open Data (LLOD) cloud.

The project offers several interactive platforms tailored for diverse users, including a Triplestore for advanced researchers familiar with SPARQL, a user-friendly Lemma Bank Query Interface, and the LiLa Interactive Search Platform for casual exploration. The skilled team of researchers and experts features profiles in Computational Linguistics, Classical Philology, and NLP, working collaboratively to elevate the understanding and accessibility of Latin texts. Through its efforts, LiLa not only preserves the linguistic heritage of Latin but also fosters academic collaboration and innovation in the digital humanities.
