## Description

Lilas Blano is a French contemporary artist born in 1965. After studying at the École des Beaux-Arts in Reims and working in advertising and animated film in several European cities, she established her studio in Reims and devoted herself to painting. Her figurative work celebrates playful, rebellious femininity through vibrant colors, bold outlines, and geometric and floral motifs. Often depicting women in forms reminiscent of childhood cutouts, Blano welcomes chance and unexpected changes in her process, bringing spontaneity and energy to each composition. Her evolving practice explores synthetic forms, geometric rhythms, and new color harmonies, placing her subjects in deconstructed settings infused with light and femininity.

Blano presents a portfolio of original paintings and has exhibited in galleries and venues across France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, the United States, Japan, and Switzerland. Her work has attracted international collectors, and the website lists private collections as sold out for several years. She is open to commissioned artwork and invites clients to contact her about individual projects.
