Lima 2019 is a brand dedicated to promoting an inclusive world through Para sport. As a part of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), they strive to lead the Paralympic Movement, oversee the delivery of the Paralympic Games, and support members in enabling Para athletes to achieve sporting excellence. With a rich history since its establishment in 1989, the IPC is a non-profit organization headquartered in Bonn, Germany.

Composed of an elected Governing Board, a management team, and various Standing Committees and Councils, the IPC supports over 200 members in developing Para sport and advocating for social inclusion. Furthermore, they act as the international federation for six Para sports. The Paralympic Games, which began in 1960, have evolved into the world's foremost sporting event for driving social inclusion.

Through ever-improving athletic performances and increasing global awareness, the Games have transformed attitudes and made a significant impact on countless lives. Additionally, the Agitos Foundation, the IPC's development arm, collaborates with IPC members to provide opportunities for Para athletes at all levels.
