Liminal is an actively anti-racist literary platform that serves as a space for both the celebration and exploration of the Asian-Australian experience. Founded by Leah Jing McIntosh in 2016, Liminal is dedicated to supporting talented writers and artists in Australia, with a particular focus on the Asian Australian community. Liminal publishes a range of captivating content, including art, writing, interviews, and more.

They also host literary events, mentorships, fellowships, and national literary prizes for First Nations writers and writers of color. Through these initiatives, Liminal aims to create new spaces and opportunities for their community. Located in Naarm, Liminal consists of a dedicated team spread across the continent.

The team pays their respects to the traditional custodians of the lands they work and live on, acknowledging the Wurundjeri and Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin nation. With a commitment to amplifying diverse voices, Liminal provides an inclusive and thought-provoking platform for artists and writers to share their stories
