## Description

LINCS, or the Linked Infrastructure for Networked Cultural Scholarship, is dedicated to enhancing the accessibility and interconnectivity of cultural data for researchers and the public. By leveraging Semantic Web technologies, LINCS empowers scholars to create, share, and analyze linked datasets that encompass diverse aspects of culture, including people, organizations, events, and artifacts. Its mission is to transform how cultural data is accessed, making it shareable and reusable while uncovering vital interconnections within Canadian heritage data.

Through innovative tools that allow for querying, visualization, and refinement of Linked Data, LINCS promotes new insights into complex social identities, immigration, and cultural diversity. The initiative not only facilitates academic inquiry but also offers a platform for individuals and organizations to engage with cultural scholarship collaboratively. LINCS invites participation from researchers, tech collaborators, and data contributors, fostering a thriving network committed to unlocking the potential of linked cultural data. Join LINCS in exploring and investigating the wealth of human culture today.
