# LINDA TOUBY - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `lindatouby.com` ## Description Linda Touby Art presents the work of New York artist Linda Touby (1942–2021), whose paintings explore how images and meanings emerge from shapes, space, and natural forms. Drawing inspiration from nature, music, art history, and her materials, Touby developed a distinctive visual language that brings together rhythmic movement, light, and abstract form. Her artist statement describes building compositions through thin veils of color and form alongside strong brush strokes, creating a sense of shallow space and lyrical motion. Classical music often accompanied her painting practice, and her influences included cave paintings, Japanese and Persian art, Giotto, Goya, Titian, Cézanne, and Picasso. The website features a diverse collection of her artwork, organized into groups such as Greek Fantasy, Trojans, Sphinxes, Metamorphosis, Gathering of Sorcerers, Ulysses’ Journey, and Sands. Other sections include Canvas Originals, Maps, Blue Tiles, and individual works such as Je T’aime, Sydney’s Door, Homage to Giotto, and Pigeons. The site states that all listed items are available for purchase; prospective buyers can inquire through the contact page. ## Industries - 🍿 Arts and Entertainment - 🍿 Visual Arts and Design _(under Arts and Entertainment)_ - 💎 Luxury - 💎 Fine Art and Collectibles _(under Luxury)_ ## Links - [instagram](https://instagram.com/lindatoubyart) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idRq-Errek/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793419622193) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Desert | #a06623 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Cream Can | #f2bd4d | light | ## Fonts - Abel — asset _(google)_ - Abel — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
