## Description

Link Cable is a browser-based service that lets Pokémon fans play compatible games together online. Players bring their own ROM, with nothing to install and the ROM kept in their browser. By hosting or joining a room, they can meet up in game, see one another exploring, and trade or battle in real time, much like using a link cable. Public rooms appear on the home page, while private rooms are accessible by invitation link; rooms support up to eight players, depending on the game and mode.

The service supports classic titles including FireRed, LeafGreen, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, and Platinum, alongside a broad selection of ROM hacks such as Radical Red, Unbound, Emerald Kaizo, Quetzal, and Polished Crystal. Some games offer specialized multiplayer modes, including cooperative play and group battles. Link Cable also provides guidance on supported ROMs, welcomes requests for additional games and features, and invites players to report bugs by email or Discord. Its multiplayer functionality uses GBA-PK, with emulation powered by mGBA and DeSmuME.
