## Description

Link House, Inc. is a nonprofit behavioral health organization serving the greater Newburyport community. Founded in 1972 as a residential program for men experiencing alcohol addiction, it has grown to provide residential and outpatient services for people facing substance use and mental health challenges. The organization has supported more than 6,500 individuals in working toward recovery and more independent, productive lives.

Link House operates five residential programs for men and women, with 118 beds in total. These include The Link House, Progress House, Maris Center for Women, and Women’s Independent Sober Housing (WISH), which offer treatment, housing stability, and supportive settings for recovery. Its outpatient services include the Center for Behavioral Health (CBH), serving adults, and the Children and Teen Center for Help (CATCH), for children and young people ages five to 18.

Link House takes a supportive, whole-person approach, addressing behavioral health needs that may underlie substance use disorders throughout recovery. Its wraparound services are intended to help clients build healthy, meaningful lives.
