Based at 33 rue Bossuet in Lyon, it supports the study and sharing of knowledge across botany, entomology, mycology, earth sciences, biology and zoology. Its specialist sections explore subjects ranging from plant diversity, alpine gardens and insects to minerals, fossils, fungi, animal biology, behaviour and archaeology. The society also includes a multidisciplinary group in Roanne, active since 1921, and organises events involving several sections. Its activities offer members and the wider public ways to learn and take part, including field outings, exhibitions, training in the field and laboratory, meetings and other events. The society publishes a regular newsletter with updates on its activities, outings and section announcements. It also provides a bulletin, books and other resources, alongside an agenda and news about its work. Through its sections and shared programme, the Société linnéenne de Lyon fosters curiosity, exchange and public engagement with the natural world. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Biology _(under Science and Education)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idm0y_CJIC/w/96/h/96/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790265989460) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | La Rioja | #a9c113 | accent | | Heavy Metal | #1f2a24 | dark | | Ecru White | #f7f4ec | light | ## Fonts - var(--font-serif) — asset _(custom)_ - var(--font-sans) — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
