They stumbled upon an abandoned two-acre property called The Dove House, built in 1927 by architect William N.

Bowman. Inspired by their own struggle to find a wedding venue, they decided to turn it into one. After a year of renovations and acquiring antiques, The Dove House hosted its first event in 1992, quickly becoming popular as the only private venue in northern Denver.

To meet the growing demand, Tom and Marie expanded their venue by purchasing a neighboring farmhouse, which they transformed into The Gatehouse. They also converted the hay stall barn into elegant accommodations. In 2017, they transformed the carriage barn into The Chandelier Barn to accommodate indoor ceremonies.

The family-owned business has continued to thrive, with the next generation taking on a larger role in running the operations. The Lionsgate team is made up of passionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional service.
