## Description

Lip Ladies is an online information and community platform for people living with lipedema, a chronic condition. Created to address the shortage of practical, experience-based information available online, the site complements specialist resources by sharing perspectives from people navigating the condition in everyday life. Its blog publishes articles on topics ranging from daily routines and therapeutic experiences to recovery after liposuction and ways to consider financing surgery when health insurance does not cover it. The content is written from the viewpoint of people with lived experience and is intended to encourage reflection and peer exchange. Lip Ladies is not a medical platform and does not provide medical advice or treatment recommendations. The team’s focus is on sharing personal experiences and ideas rather than replacing professional care. Visitors can contact the team by email or through the contact form, and the site also describes plans for a forum where members can exchange questions, ideas, and experiences directly.
