## Description

Lipsey's, established in 1953 as a wholesale hunting and fishing distributor, has a storied legacy rooted in the Lipsey family's commitment to the sporting goods industry. Originally named S & S Wholesale Sporting Goods, the brand underwent a transformation in 1993 and shifted its focus primarily to firearms distribution. Richard Lipsey, who acquired the business in 1977, has elevated Lipsey's to one of the largest independently owned firearms distributors in the United States.

The brand specializes in a wide range of firearms and accessories, including exclusive firearms developed through strong relationships with leading manufacturers. Over the years, Lipsey’s has garnered numerous accolades, including being named Outstanding Distributor of the Year by Sporting Goods Dealer Magazine. Today, under the leadership of Laurie Lipsey Aronson, the third-generation president, Lipsey's continues to serve federally licensed dealers while maintaining a reputation for innovation and customer value. With its headquarters in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Lipsey's remains dedicated to enhancing the sporting experience for enthusiasts nationwide.
