## Description

Liquid Donkey Games is a New Zealand-based independent game development studio. Its debut title, Folklore Hunter, is a supernatural creature-hunting game that entered Steam Early Access in 2020 and has attracted attention from players, online creators, and fans. The studio invites players to explore the game through its website and connect via its Discord community, Steam page, and blog.

In Folklore Hunter, players take on contracts as hunters of legendary creatures from around the world. Each hunt features a handcrafted environment and story, with clues, maps, puzzles, and mysteries to uncover. Players explore locations such as abandoned campsites, cabins, watchtowers, and caves, while gathering resources, setting traps, and preparing equipment to face dangerous beasts. The game supports online co-op, allowing players to hunt together, and includes gear upgrades and randomized contracts designed to make expeditions replayable. Liquid Donkey Games presents Folklore Hunter as an atmospheric adventure built around exploration, strategy, and survival. Its website lists Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch among the platform options for getting the game.
