Liquid Rocketry Lab (LRL) is a non-profit company consisting of a team of over 150 students from NC State University. As a pioneering liquid propulsion and launch vehicle systems research team, we are dedicated to developing the world's first collegiate liquid-powered rocket that can reach the Karman line, the edge of space. In addition to this groundbreaking goal, we aim to construct a unique test stand, the second of its kind in the country, and establish a sustainable propulsion program at NC State. Our diverse team spans various engineering disciplines and business, bringing together a wealth of expertise and experience crucial to this ambitious endeavor. With the support of a network of investors and mentors, LRL is poised for growth and aims to advance North Carolina's position in the aerospace industry. Through our project, students gain invaluable firsthand experience, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration akin to the Caltech-JPL model.
