## Description

Lisa Foley is a children’s author based in Melbourne, Australia, whose lifelong interest in storytelling began when she was seven. Her creative work has also taken her through film and television and the visual arts, but writing stories for young readers remains her central focus. Foley co-writes the middle-grade adventure series 18,000 Holes in the Universe with Adam Wallace, with illustrations by James Hart. The books follow the GOLF Squad, a group of five adventurous children who travel through a magical golf course to other worlds, facing comic and fantastical dangers as they try to rescue Grandpa Galileo and thwart the GOOF’s plans. The first three titles are Dragonfire, Snack Attack and Sand Trapped. Their adventures feature perilous dragons, giant food, treacherous desert hazards and other imaginative challenges, blending action, humor and fantasy for young readers. Foley’s website introduces her books and offers ways to learn more about her work and get in touch. Her books are available through online and in-store booksellers, including local and independent bookshops.
