## Description

LISA Mission is the first gravitational wave observatory in space, led by ESA with contributions from NASA and various ESA member states. Their mission is to observe gravitational waves using three satellites connected by laser beams in a heliocentric orbit. LISA's key features include drag-free operation, distance measurement, and extensive data analysis capabilities. They aim to measure and study the gravitational waves emanating from various sources, such as astrophysical black holes, extreme mass ratio inspirals, ultra-compact binaries in our Milky Way, and more. To achieve their goals, LISA utilizes advanced technology, including the LISA Pathfinder mission, which focuses on achieving the best free-fall environment to minimize disturbances during measurements. They employ the LTP (LISA Technology Package) consisting of an optical metrology system, a gravitational reference system, and various subsystems to control the satellites and test masses. With their groundbreaking research, LISA Mission contributes to the scientific landscape of 2030, exploring fundamental science, dark energy, cosmic microwave background, particle physics, and late-time cosmology. They foster collaboration through their consortium, providing a platform to join the community against racism and discrimination.
