## Description

**Brand Description: Lisburn and the Great War Research Project**

The Lisburn and the Great War Research Project is a dedicated initiative aimed at preserving the legacy of the local heroes from Lisburn and its surrounding areas who served during World War I. This collaborative effort, spearheaded by Pat Geary and supported by the Irish Linen Centre & Lisburn Museum, focuses on creating a comprehensive database that documents the biographies of those who served and died in the conflict from 1914 to 1918.

The project not only highlights the names and stories of fallen soldiers but also plans to enrich the database with details on survivors, photos, and various artifacts from the museum’s collection over time. This evolving repository serves as an educational resource for the community and future generations, ensuring that the sacrifices of Lisburn's brave men and women are never forgotten. Contributions of additional information from the public are welcomed, further enhancing this invaluable historical archive.
