## Description

Lister Tennis Club is a family-friendly tennis club in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, run by a small group of volunteers. Its facilities include two indoor courts and three outdoor floodlit courts, supporting play throughout the year. The club offers cost-effective membership with no joining fee, including free outdoor court use, club nights, social play opportunities and access to low-cost indoor courts.

Coaching is available for all ages and abilities, delivered by LTA coaches. The programme ranges from tots and mini tennis through to an expanding adult programme, with term-time lessons, holiday camps, tournaments and individual coaching also offered. Members and non-members can book outdoor courts; floodlights are required for evening bookings from 18:00 during the stated autumn and winter period, at a charge of £8 per hour.

Players need to bring their own rackets, balls and other equipment, as the club does not provide equipment hire. Lister Tennis Club also promotes a safe playing environment, including a no-mobile-phone rule on court. The club is located on North Road in Stevenage.
