## Description

It brings authors, artists and audiences together for readings, conversations and literary events, showcasing books and ideas across a varied programme. Alongside its main festival, the organisation presents lit.COLOGNE spezial, a series of selected events featuring writers and new books throughout the year. Its programme includes appearances by international and German-language authors, as well as events combining literature with other cultural perspectives and performers.

The festival offers ticket information, venue details and practical guidance for visitors, with tickets available for individual events. Its lit.kid programme serves younger audiences through initiatives including KlasseBuch and VorschulBuch. The organisation also provides programme information, event listings, a photo gallery and newsletters covering its festivals and related projects.

Accessibility is an important part of lit.COLOGNE’s work. For more than ten years, it has supported the participation of people with disabilities and offers selected accessible or barrier-reduced events.
