## Description

The National Literacy Directory (NLD) is a vital resource aimed at promoting literacy in communities across the nation. A collaboration between the National Center for Families Learning (NCFL) and ProLiteracy, the NLD is supported by the Dollar General Literacy Foundation. This platform connects learners and volunteers with local educational programs and services, making it easier for individuals to embark on their educational journeys.

The NLD provides listings in various categories, including Early Childhood Education, Family Literacy, High School Equivalency, Adult Basic Education, English Language Learning, and Citizenship Classes. In addition to program search tools, the directory serves educators and literacy professionals by offering access to valuable resources, research, and grant opportunities.

Dedicated to fostering a supportive community, the National Literacy Directory celebrates success stories and seeks innovative solutions to common literacy challenges, making it a cornerstone for those looking to enhance their educational experiences. Whether you're a learner or a volunteer, the NLD is here to help you find your path to success.
