## Description

**Literatura Acessível** is a pioneering project dedicated to promoting inclusion through literature. It focuses on creating diverse and accessible reading materials that empower individuals with disabilities, making awareness of social issues such as discrimination and identity reconceptualization a central theme. With over 20 years of commitment, the project gained international recognition by receiving the Confucius Literacy Prize from UNESCO, underscoring its dedication to fostering an inclusive society.

The initiative features a vibrant collection of children's books—each centered on characters overcoming societal barriers through sports, education, and culture. Highlights include titles like "Ico and the World We Want to Build" and "The Princess with an Extra Chromosome," which elevate important narratives while catering to young and adult readers alike. The literature is complemented by interactive elements, such as animated books and music videos, available through a free app.

Aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, Literatura Acessível aims for quality education and gender equality, striving to enrich communities through dialogue and understanding.
