## Description

Literaturport is a literary information and discovery portal run by the Literarisches Colloquium Berlin (LCB) and the Brandenburgisches Literaturbüro (BLB). It brings together resources about writers, literary life and events, with a particular focus on Berlin and Brandenburg. Its authors’ directory profiles more than 2,160 writers, while additional sections explore literary scenes, biographies, video portraits and places connected with literature and literary history. The portal also offers a research tool covering German-language literary magazines, presenting periodicals from 2015 onward, and a directory of literary event organizers in Berlin and Brandenburg. Visitors can browse regional event listings, literary tours and information about writers and venues, as well as find details of prizes, residencies, grants and application deadlines. Editorial features include a regularly updated reading recommendation and a spotlight on an author of the day. By combining reference material, cultural listings and opportunities for writers, Literaturport supports readers, literary professionals and anyone seeking to explore the literary landscape of the region and beyond.
