## Description

Literaturszene Köln e.V. is a nonprofit association representing literary professionals in Cologne, Germany. It works to make the city’s literary life more visible, improve working conditions for people in the field, and encourage connections across the local literary community. Its website serves as a portal to information about literature in Cologne, bringing together news, profiles, and practical resources for readers and industry members alike.

Visitors can browse a literary events calendar, supported by Literaturhaus Köln, and find links to literary initiatives, bookshops, publishers, libraries, media, and places associated with literature. The portal also provides information about funding opportunities and scholarships for writers. The association develops and presents projects including Kölner Literaturnacht, the Kölner Kinder- und Jugendbuchtag, and Schreibraum, and shares updates, calls for participation, and stories about the city’s literary scene. Its events and initiatives support authors, illustrators, and other creative professionals while helping audiences discover readings, festivals, and activities for children and young people.
