## Description

The Little Campbell Watershed Society is a community stewardship organization based in Surrey, British Columbia. Its mission is to understand, protect, and enhance the Little Campbell River and its watershed, which spans five jurisdictions and flows into the Semiahmoo Bay and Boundary Bay system. The Society works to preserve and restore fish and wildlife habitat, water resources, and green space, while encouraging local residents to take part in caring for the watershed.

Its activities include riparian habitat enhancement, water-quality and invertebrate sampling, community mapping and surveys, educational programs, and fish releases. The Society also reviews development proposals in the watershed and shares concerns with the City of Surrey and Township of Langley. Residents can participate through volunteer opportunities, community events, and regular meetings, or support the organization with an annual individual or household membership. Members receive monthly e-newsletters and four annual issues of BC Nature’s electronic magazine. The Society also shares watershed information, environmental concerns, event updates, and news through its website and blog.
