Liuacow, also known as Liu Wan-Lin, is a talented Taiwanese artist and animator based in Hualien. With a degree in visual communication design from Da-Yeh University and further studies in audio-visual animation at Tainan National University of the Arts, Liu has built a rich professional background. After spending over eleven years in academia, Liu transitioned into a creative career fueled by a passion for animation and illustration. Their work is distinctively characterized by an obsession with collecting vintage objects and a fascination for the textures and forms of flora and fauna, often weaving these elements seamlessly into their artistic creations. In 2022, Liuacow gained significant recognition for the short film "Heron River," which was nominated for several prestigious awards, including Best Animated Short at the Golden Horse Awards. Currently serving as an animation director at anVision Design, Liu balances commercial projects with personal artistic endeavors, continuously exploring new avenues in animation and illustration.
