## Description

LiU Formula Student is a non-profit, student-run association at Linköping University in Linköping, Sweden. Each year, its members design, develop, manufacture, and build an electric competition race car, then take it to Formula Student events across Sweden and Europe to compete with teams from universities around the world. The organization brings together about 130 bachelor’s and master’s students from several academic programs and year groups, giving them the opportunity to apply their studies in a practical engineering project. Its work spans the journey from vehicle concept to competition, with students collaborating to create a car within the resources and one-year timeframe of the Formula Student challenge. LiU Formula Student works closely with Linköping University and local industries, and invites organizations to become partners in support of the team and its annual competition vehicle. The team also welcomes students who want to join, develop their engineering skills, and contribute to the project. Through its racing and partnerships, LiU Formula Student connects education, technical development, and student teamwork.
