## Description

LIXEN is the student newspaper of the University of Southern Denmark, created by journalism students to report on issues, people and ideas that matter to their community and beyond. Its coverage spans society, culture, sport, careers and opinion, alongside portraits, crime stories, reportage and student-focused features. The publication also highlights constructive journalism and investigative work, including reporting on representation in public statues and patterns in expert sources. Readers can explore interviews, reviews, cultural commentary, personal perspectives and coverage of current affairs, from migration policy to major sporting events. LIXEN offers its journalism through an online publication and an e-paper, with an archive that gives readers access to earlier material. Audio is also among the formats represented on the site. By combining news and analysis with personal storytelling and lighter features, LIXEN provides a varied view of student life and the wider world. Its articles reflect the curiosity and developing skills of emerging journalists, while examining subjects through a distinctly student-led editorial perspective.
