## Description

The Liga do Mercado Financeiro da Unicamp (LMF Unicamp) is a student organization founded in 2015 at the Faculty of Applied Sciences in Limeira, Brazil. It develops university students’ knowledge and skills in financial markets, helping prepare them for professional opportunities. Its mission is to strengthen member capabilities and connect the Limeira community with the financial sector, guided by integrity, initiative, excellence, leadership, and a strong sense of ownership.

LMF Unicamp offers educational and practical initiatives, including thematic groups, sell-side analyses, internal projects, challenges, courses on cryptoassets and investment strategies, and resources such as a macroeconomics guide and newsletter. Its events include the annual Semana do Mercado Financeiro, which brings participants into contact with topics such as research, investment banking, cryptoassets, and investment advisory. The organization also runs EmpowHer and other projects intended to support learning and professional development. In 2025, its team became a national finalist in the CFA Institute Research Challenge, presenting equity research and an investment thesis on a real company.
