## Description

Lobos do Brunheiro de Chaves is a nonprofit sports association based in the Chaves area of Portugal’s Alto Tâmega region. Founded by nine local residents with a shared enthusiasm for trail running and sport in nature, the association takes its name from Serra do Brunheiro, a prominent local mountain reaching 920 metres and a regular setting for its training. Its activities focus on mountain and outdoor sports, bringing together participants interested in trail running, athletics, trekking and mountain walking, mountain biking (BTT), and road cycling. The association also features the Aquae Brunheiro Trail and shares news about its athletes’ participation and results in competitions, including trail and cycling events. Through its team, it encourages people to join the group and take part in sporting activities and adventures. Lobos do Brunheiro offers a community for people who enjoy active pursuits outdoors, while representing Chaves and the surrounding region through its sporting involvement.
