## Description

Bay City News Foundation is dedicated to serving the greater San Francisco Bay Area with quality local news. Supported by charitable donations from those who value a free press and well-informed communities, we focus on addressing news deserts and collaborating with other media outlets. Our work includes experimenting with technology, training future journalists, and providing internships to budding reporters. Some of our stories reach up to 9 million people through the affiliated Bay City News regional newswire. By becoming a Local News Matters member, you can support the future of Bay Area news. Stay updated with our free newsletters offering in-depth news stories, arts, and entertainment coverage. Help us continue our impactful work by making a donation today. Contact our newsroom for tips, pitches, or corrections at 510-251-8100 or newsroom@baycitynews.com.
