## Description

The Geospatial Council of Australia presents Locate, the national conference that brings together both national and international delegates from the geospatial industry. As Australia's premier geospatial conference, Locate offers a unique platform to explore the latest trends and applications in geospatial technologies. Prior to its establishment in 2014, the Australasian geospatial industry had several separate conferences. However, at the spatial@gov conference in 2012, the Assistant Secretary of Spatial Policy at the Department of Communications, Helen Owens, announced the industry's unification. Since then, Locate has played a pivotal role in fostering industry-wide representation, collaboration, and bridging connections with new markets. The conference continues to attract greater attendance each year, while providing professional and business development workshops, addressing policy issues, and facilitating networking opportunities. Through the strength and unity it has cultivated within the industry, Locate has become a key milestone in promoting the true value of spatial information for businesses. Stay connected with the Geospatial Council of Australia and subscribe for industry news and events.
