## Description

Its book, Miekak Days, is an homage to the Miekak fishery, located just north of the Arctic Circle, where expansive landscapes, clear waters and natural fish stocks draw anglers back season after season. Written by Jussi Niemi and Jani Länsimäki, the English-language hardcover offers 156 pages of photographs, maps and personal diary accounts, presented in a clean, minimal style. The book follows fly-fishing visits to four distinct waters: Lake Sarta, the Sidoströmmen rapids, the Lådda stream and the Pieske River. Its illustrated maps identify selected pools and areas, while practical notes and fly recommendations offer guidance for both first-time visitors and experienced anglers. Alongside fishing insights, diary entries recall memorable catches, missed opportunities and the friendships formed on the water. Miekak Days is available for purchase from loclouds, with shipping charged separately, and is intended for anglers and readers interested in Lapland and fly-fishing adventures.
