## Description

Lofft is an intimate tasting-menu restaurant in Pontcanna, Cardiff, bringing twelve guests together around a chef’s counter and open kitchen. Located on the first floor above Thomas, the brasserie, it offers a personal dining experience where guests can watch the chefs prepare and present each course. The restaurant’s cooking is inspired by chef Tom Simmons’ Pembrokeshire upbringing and celebrates the quality and diversity of Welsh produce, sourced through trusted farmers, growers and suppliers.

Lofft serves a seasonal tasting menu that changes throughout the year, shaped by ingredients at their best. Dishes may feature Welsh venison and salted Welsh butter alongside Cornish seafood, truffle and seasonal fruit. The menu combines precise cooking, thoughtful technique and warm Welsh hospitality. The restaurant is led by Tom Simmons and Executive Chef Tom Peters, working with a small kitchen team. Lofft is included in the Michelin Guide for Modern British cooking and received Three AA Rosettes in 2026. Guests can book seats for dinner or selected lunchtime services, and gift vouchers are also available.
