## Description

The Lombardy Agricultural Society is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run organization based in Lombardy, Ontario, just outside Smiths Falls along Highway 15 South. It is best known for presenting the Lombardy Fair, a family-friendly agricultural event and Civic Holiday weekend tradition. The 2026 fair, scheduled for July 31 to August 2, will mark the event’s 160th anniversary. Visitors can enjoy agricultural displays, a midway, and entertainment, with country hospitality for the whole family. The society’s fairgrounds include accessible, well-maintained buildings, green space, and on-site parking.

Beyond the annual fair, the society offers its licensed hall for rentals, with capacity for up to 314 people, as well as full catering services. Its website provides information for exhibitors and details about the organization’s history, past presidents, and Board of Directors. Community members can support its work by volunteering or sponsoring signage at the fairgrounds. The society also shares updates and event information through its social media channels.
