## Description

London Roller Derby is a skater-owned-and-run flat track roller derby league based in London, England. Established in April 2006, it was the first roller derby league founded in the UK and has helped drive the sport’s growth in the UK and Europe. The league is open to women, including transgender and intersex women, as well as non-binary and gender-expansive participants, and encourages people to get involved.

Through its teams and events, London Roller Derby brings its community together around the sport. Its website introduces roller derby and the league, shares information about its teams, and provides ways to participate, attend events, and explore its shop. Visitors can also join the mailing list for updates or make enquiries about sponsorship. London Roller Derby presents itself as both a sporting organisation and an inclusive community, with a focus on flat track roller derby and welcoming a broad range of participants. The league is operated by London Roller Derby Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
