## Description

London’s Air Ambulance Charity is a registered charity that brings specialist emergency medical care to critically injured people across London. Its advanced trauma team travels by helicopter from 08:00 until sunset, and by rapid response car at night or in adverse weather. By taking hospital-level care to the scene, the charity aims to give patients the best chance of survival when every second counts. Its doctors and paramedics respond to serious incidents, including major road collisions and other life-threatening injuries. The service has treated more than 52,000 patients, with 2,031 treated in 2025.

The charity relies on public support to sustain its lifesaving work. People can donate once or regularly, organise community or school fundraisers, join its weekly lottery, volunteer, support corporate partnerships, or give in memory of someone. It also offers events and other ways to get involved. Through patient stories, impact reporting and education, the organisation shares the difference its teams make for patients and families.
