## Description

Loopelo is a family-focused app and community built in Aachen to help parents plan activities and connect with families in their area. It brings local family events, days out, playgrounds, parks, indoor play venues, museums and other activities together in one place, with filters for location and children’s ages. Families can browse weekly listings, find ideas for rainy days, explore parent-recommended outings and receive practical tips suited to their child’s age and everyday life. The app also provides protected spaces for parent circles linked to daycares, schools and other groups, with encrypted messaging that does not require sharing phone numbers. Loopelo offers free tools for nurseries, clubs, parent groups and family-oriented businesses. Groups can manage dates, memberships and sign-ups, while businesses can create event calendars and produce downloadable materials such as PDFs, posters, social posts and QR check-in resources. Founded in Aachen by parents Amin Yazdi and Jana Pour, Loopelo emphasizes privacy, hosting its main servers in Germany, complying with GDPR and stating that it does not sell users’ data.
