# LORD - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `lord.town` ## Description Legend of the Red Dragon (LORD) is a browser-based adaptation of the iconic 1990s BBS door role-playing game created by Seth Able Robinson. This faithful TypeScript port brings the classic text adventure to modern players, with options to fight monsters, gain levels, duel other players, charm the princess, and take on the Red Dragon. Players can choose between two campaigns, each offering a distinct style of play. The Wild Hunt is a customized experience featuring additional in-game modules, non-player characters, more random events, and enabled gold transfers. The Iron Gauntlet provides a stricter, tournament-style version of the core game, with tougher rules, no in-game modules, and gold transfers disabled. Each realm sets its own limits for daily forest encounters and player-versus-player fights, as well as the number of dragon kills required to win. Both campaigns include leaderboards and news, and players use a shared login across realms.
