## Description

Loreztia is a Basque artisan food brand founded in 1993 by beekeeper and jam maker Jacques Salles. Based in Bayonne, the company draws on the region’s produce and traditional craft methods to create distinctive foods, combining heritage with culinary innovation and a commitment to responsible management of its ecosystem.

Its range includes honey from the Basque and Landes forests, Spanish honeys, pralines, confectionery, jams, fruit sauces, condiments and sweet-and-savoury specialties. Some jams are reduced in sugar, and local-fruit varieties are made with produce harvested within 100 kilometres of Bayonne. Loreztia also offers wellbeing products, including propolis, apitherapy items, herbal infusions and cosmetics, as well as gift ideas. Its Apinergie product brings together honey, pollen and royal jelly.

Customers can shop through Loreztia’s online boutique or visit Boutik’Expo at 58 rue d’Espagne in Bayonne, open Monday to Saturday. The brand’s quality and sustainability efforts have received recognition including the Coq d’Or and the Sustainable Development Trophy.
