## Description

Lotech Products LLC is a family-run business founded by the Ambrose family, who describe themselves as composters, gardeners, and tinkerers. Since 1991, the company has made the Compost Crank, an original corkscrew-style compost aerator designed to help people manage home composting. Its range also includes the Compost Crank Twist and other garden products, including stainless steel and copper tools, garden beds, and garden stakes.

Lotech emphasizes handcrafted, heirloom-quality products intended for repeated use in the garden. The family makes each Crank and Twist using machinery they built from recycled parts, reflecting the company’s interest in sustainability and upcycling. Its minimal packaging is compostable, recyclable, or both, and even the packing tape can be composted.

The company aims to support greener gardening and home composting while promoting a healthier planet. Customers can shop its products online, learn about its donation program, nominate a group or organization, and find information for wholesale and municipal inquiries. Lotech also provides customer support and shipping, returns, and product information.
