## Description

NGO Saranghae is a South Korean nonprofit founded by a suicide-loss survivor. Grounded in lived experience, the organization sees suicide as a social issue that calls for collective care, and focuses on survival, connection, and the possibility of rebuilding life after crisis or loss. Its aim is to help people feel less alone and find support to keep going.

Saranghae offers psychological counseling and emotional support for people experiencing suicidal thoughts, self-harm, or related distress. It also runs life-respect campaigns and peer self-help gatherings, including support for people bereaved by suicide. For those facing practical hardship, the organization provides economic assistance, such as emergency living support and help with medical expenses and other urgent needs. Its services include support for young people at high risk and people vulnerable to isolation.

The organization shares stories from people who have received help and invites those in need to request support through its website and messaging channels.
