## Description

The Loving Rose Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting people affected by cancer and dementia, including patients, survivors, and caregivers. Founded in memory of Rose Catherine G. Bates, who died of Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, the organization grew from a community walking team established in 2012 and its memorial gospel concert tradition. Its mission is to provide service, support, financial assistance, and resources that help make life easier for those facing these illnesses.

Through community outreach, fundraising, and uplifting events, the foundation brings people together to offer encouragement and raise awareness. Its annual Rose G. Bates Memorial Gospel Concert features worship, music, dance, spoken word, and fellowship; admission is free for cancer and dementia patients and their caregivers, with donations welcomed. The organization also shares survivor stories and past concert videos online, and invites supporters to contribute through GoFundMe, PayPal, Cash App, or Zelle. Run by a team of part-time volunteers, the foundation channels community generosity into practical support and hope for patients and their families.
