## Description

Limb Preservation Center of East Tennessee is a specialized wound care practice in Lenoir City serving patients across the Greater Knoxville area. Its mission is to help prevent amputation and improve quality of life for people with chronic or non-healing wounds. Led by Heather Hutchings, D.O., a board-certified wound care specialist and family physician with more than 13 years of wound and hyperbaric medicine experience, the center provides individualized care throughout each patient’s healing journey.

Services include chronic wound evaluation and treatment, diabetic foot ulcer care, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, wound debridement, and treatment for non-healing surgical wounds and radiation injuries. The team assesses each wound, considers its underlying causes, and develops a treatment plan tailored to the patient’s needs. Advanced approaches, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, are used to support tissue repair and healing. The center also provides amputation care aimed at helping patients avoid complications. With a compassionate, patient-focused approach, Limb Preservation Center of East Tennessee works to support healing, mobility, and independence.
