Lower Savannah Council of Governments (LSCOG) is a regional organization in South Carolina that collaborates with local governments to address common issues and opportunities. Established in 1967, LSCOG serves Aiken, Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Calhoun, and Orangeburg counties, providing guidance and support to member counties without having authority over them. As a middleman between local governments and public agencies, LSCOG secures funding, promotes projects, and encourages regional growth.

The organization offers a range of programs and services through six departments: Administration; Aging, Disability, and Transportation; Housing; Planning, Community, and Economic Development; Tourism; and Workforce Development. These programs assist the aging population, administer transportation programs, plan for future land use, provide grant administration services, and offer workforce training, among other services. Funding for programs comes from various sources, including federal and state grants, local government contributions, and partnerships with entities such as the Economic Development Administration and the United Way.
