The club introduces people to aviation and offers opportunities to learn to fly in gliders, ultralight aircraft and powered aircraft. Its training programs cover gliding, ultralight flying and motorized flight, while introductory flights give visitors a chance to experience the air with a club pilot. Its fleet includes gliders such as the ASK 21, Duo Discus XLT, ASK 23, LS 4, LS 8 and K 8 B, along with aircraft including the Robin DR400/180 Régent, B&F FK9 Mk. VI and FK14 Polaris. The airfield has a 1,250-metre runway, and the club reports more than 40 young members and around 30,000 kilometres flown annually in gliders. News, activities and information about the youth group help visitors discover the club’s community and sporting life.
