## Description

LTZ is a training institution focused on horse hoof care, hoof technology and equine therapies. Led by Dr. Michael Zanger and based in Einhausen, Germany, it describes its teaching as scientifically grounded and holistic, considering the hoof in relation to the whole horse, including anatomy, biomechanics, posture, feeding and asymmetry. LTZ is QM-certified, recognised as an employee-training organisation in North Rhine-Westphalia and Baden-Württemberg, and officially approved to provide FBA hoof-care training in Switzerland.

Its courses prepare learners for work in hoof care, hoof technology, equine physiotherapy and equine osteopathy. Offerings include distance learning, therapeutic hoof care, synthetic shoeing, hoof-boot training, horse acupuncture and workshops for horse owners and professionals. Teaching combines theory with practical work on horses, supported by experienced instructors and flexible learning options. LTZ also provides books by Dr. Zanger, instructional videos with subtitles in ten languages, a hoof-care app, a global hoof-care database and the LTZ Elite Hub. The organisation serves both aspiring professionals and horse owners seeking to deepen their understanding of equine care.
