## Description

Ludothek Spieltruhe is a community lending library in Rheinfelden, Switzerland, dedicated to making games and toys accessible and encouraging play as an active leisure activity and an important part of culture. Visitors can borrow items from its assortment and try selected games in play areas on the ground and upper floors. The team is also happy to introduce games and help visitors discover options suited to their interests, whether they are experienced board-game players or new to modern games.

The Ludothek supports community play through regular events, including a free monthly board-game evening for people aged 15 and over. No prior experience or registration is required. It also hosts public candle-making activities. Schools, kindergartens and groups of six or more can request special opening arrangements.

Located at Rindergasse 2 in Rheinfelden, Ludothek Spieltruhe is open Tuesday afternoons, Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, with adjusted availability during school holidays. The organisation also welcomes volunteers to support its lending service and shares updates through its website and Facebook.
