LUKIN Motors is a Melbourne-based marque reimagining defining automobiles of the 1960s and 1970s. Its approach preserves the character and design of classic cars while introducing the engineering, performance and refinement of a modern automobile. The brand’s first model, the LUKIN 67, takes inspiration from the unmistakable 1967 fastback silhouette. It is a newly manufactured, coachbuilt automobile with refined proportions, bespoke exterior finishes and individually chosen details. Built in limited numbers in Melbourne, each car is commissioned in conversation with its future owner, who can select colours, leather, timber and other finishes. The LUKIN 67 combines a hand-trimmed interior with a modern V8 driveline, six-speed transmission, independent suspension and ABS braking. Three-point belts are integrated into every seat. LUKIN Motors describes its work as a continuation of a Melbourne craft tradition associated with W.E. Grove and the King & Grove coachworks. LUKIN Parts, intended for owners of existing classic cars, is listed as coming soon. The LUKIN 67 is being approved as a new vehicle under Australia’s Low Volume Scheme.
