## Description

Lumo Rentals is a Bengaluru-made rental platform that helps people access useful items from nearby owners instead of buying them. Through Lumo Bazaar, customers can browse and rent products such as cameras, drones, camping gear, gaming consoles, speakers, tools, books, event equipment, baby items, and more. Listings show daily and weekly prices, and renters book, pay, and communicate with owners through the Lumo app, available for iPhone and Android. Lumo holds the refundable security deposit and records item condition with photos at pickup and return.

The platform also offers self-drive cars, bikes, and scooters from hosts in Bengaluru and other Indian cities, with options including cars for day trips and vehicles for group travel. Owners can list items for free, set their own prices, and earn from belongings they already have; Lumo charges a 15–20% service fee. Rental companies can onboard vehicle fleets through registration documents, spreadsheets, or an API, while Lumo supports discovery, payments, and bookings. Bazaar is currently a Bengaluru pilot.
