## Description

Lumus is an Israeli augmented reality optics brand at the forefront of groundbreaking display technology. Their reflective waveguide technology is revolutionizing the way we access the metaverse, allowing smart glasses to resemble normal glasses and be used outdoors. Leading technology companies have recognized that achieving a near to eye display that is efficient enough to last all day with a bright outdoor image is a significant challenge. Lumus provides the solution. Lumus has already made a significant impact across various industries. Their technology is trusted by spinal surgeons and utilized by fighter pilots flying A10 and F16 aircraft. With a focus on producing superior wearable displays, Lumus has an impressive company timeline. They were one of the earliest augmented reality hardware companies, and over the years, they have built a strong IP portfolio to protect their reflective waveguide concept. In 2021, Lumus launched the Maximus optical engine, featuring unparalleled performance and a wide 50-degree field of view. Looking ahead, Lumus is set to introduce the Z-Lens, which reduces the weight and geometry of their optical engines by over 50% and offers the only waveguide that can have direct bonding of Rx lenses.
